“Nothing left to be said.” This would be my answer to the author’s question in v.32 (“And what more shall I say?)

I believe he said plenty.

After learning from the faith of Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Joshua, Rahab, and beyond—I’m sufficiently inspired to grab the baton from the saints of the past and carry it forward by faith. Each individual described in the earlier verses of Hebrews 11 made a difference in their lifetime. They weren’t perfect by any means, but they walked by faith. Isn’t it good news that, in Christ, we aren’t remembered for our failures but by our faith?

These men and women made it count; we can find inspiration from their stories and radical acts of obedience. Today, God has given us breath in our lungs and faith to press forward. Remember, faith is not looking for clear evidence and then taking a step, but instead having an inner confidence and conviction that God will be faithful to His promises and meet you on the other side of your action. He was faithful in the past, and He will be faithful now.

I’m praying that you will be inspired today to continue to believe, trust, and walk by faith. Why knows? One day, you may be written about how God used you to change the world, by faith!

Father, thank You for giving me a new day to dream a new dream and new mercies to follow You by faith. I’m inspired by those who ran their race before me, and I’m ready to run mine now! Fill me with faith, strengthen my hands and my heart, and guide me on this journey forward. Use me to make a difference in this world that results in your glory, the good of others, and my joy. In Jesus’ name, amen!
